Sour Cream Cake

1 c butter (2 sticks)
3 c sugar
6 eggs, separated
1 tsp lemon flavoring
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 c sour cream
3 1/3 c sifted flour

Grease and flour tube pan. Beat Oleo with 2 1/2 c sugar. Add egg yolk one at a time. Continue to beat until lemon color. Add flavor. Beat egg whites. Add remaining sugar. Stir in soda and sour cream. Add flour alternately with sour cream to butter mix. Fold in egg whites. Bake at 325° for 1 hour 30 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before taking out.
