Yum-Yum Cake

2 eggs
2 c sugar
2 c crushed pineapple, undrained
2 c all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder

Beat eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir in pineapple. Add flour, which has been sifted with baking powder. Mix well and spread batter into a greased and well-floured 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake is done.

Topping

1 c sugar
1 stick Oleo
1 5.3oz can evaporated milk
1 c flaked coconut
1 c chopped nuts
1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp lemon flavor
or
1 tsp vanilla

Boil sugar, oleo and milk in sacepan for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut, nuts, and flavorings. Spread over hot cake.
