Makes 12

Cream Puffs

1 c boiling water
1/2 c Oleo
1/4 tsp salt
1 c flour
4 eggs

Combine water, Oleo, and salt. Heat until boiling hard. Add flour at once. Stir until it leaves the sides of the pan. Remove from heat. Add eggs one at a time, beating until stiff. Bake on greased sheet at 450° for 20-25 minutes.

Cream Puff Filling

1 1/2 c scalded milk
2/3 c sugar
5 tbs flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 c cold milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar, flour, salt with cold milk. Add beaten egg yolks. Pour slowly into scalded milk. Cook until thick. Add vanilla. Cool. Fold in beaten egg whites.
