Turkey Chili
1 package ground turkey
1 large onion - chopped
3 cloves garlic - chopped
1 or 2 jalapenos - minced, with seeds
chili powder
2-3 stalks celery
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can plain tomatoes
1 can pinto beans
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil
a little red wine or beer
Sauté onion, garlic, jalapeno, and celery in olive oil til
softened. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili powder.
Add turkey and brown.
Add both cans of tomatoes, the pinto beans, and a splash of red wine
or beer.
Adjust spices, add water if necessary and cook at least 1 hour - it's
best reheated over and over again.
