Butterscotch Yams

6 medium yams
1/2 c Karo corn syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c half-and-half or cream
2 tbs margarine
1/2 tsp salt

Cook and peel potatoes, bake, cut in fourths and arrange in 13x9x2 inch dish. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.
Cook Karo, sugar, cream, and salt to boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes. Bake 15 minutes more.
